Seemingly simple, yet tricky to get just right, mastering the perfect omelet is a home chef’s milestone.
1. Heat a non-stick pan, and melt butter in it.
2. Swirling both the pan and the spatula, mix farmfresh eggs in the pan to create a very fine curd on the bottom while heating the eggs throughout.
3. Stop stirring and allow the eggs to set. When the omelet has a very thin film of loose egg on top, it’s ready to be plated.
4. Roll and slide the omelet onto a plate and shape the omelet by either folding it or rolling it. Finish with a pat of butter and a little salt and pepper.
