Thom Filicia

Founder and principal of his eponymous New York-based firm since 1998, interior designer Thom Filicia has earned widespread acclaim and notable clients in the worlds of finance, sports, media, fashion and hospitality. Thom’s recognition expanded beyond the design world when he was cast as the interior design expert in the Emmy-Award winning show Queer Eye for the Straight Guy, hosted several successful shows for the Style Network, and appeared as featured talent on the HGTV Network. His diverse design portfolio also includes various first-class hotels and special projects. The celebrated designer is also the author of Thom Filicia Style and American Beauty: Renovating and Decorating a Beloved Retreat. Furthermore, Thom is the creative mind and driving force behind the Thom Filicia Home Collection, which includes furniture, textiles, artwork, curtain hardware, wallcovering, bedding, pillows and broad loom, and he also operates Sedgwick & Brattle, a to-the-trade showroom in the New York Design Center. Thom graduated from Syracuse University with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Interior Design and is a visiting design professor at the School of Art and Design.
