A family with three children requested a home in Newport Beach, California, where all the neighborhood children could comfortably congregate. The solution was a compound in the modern farmhouse vernacular. A stylish main building, pool pavilion and guest casita surround an expansive yard, yielding a property equally suitable for both young and old.
