In 2023, Luis was named to ELLE Decor’s A-List 100, joining the ranks of top global designers and architects. His work and designs have garnered recognition including from The New York Times, NBC, Esquire, GQ, ELLE Decor, WWD and Departures Magazine.
His signature design style of clean, functional and future-forward modernism creates a statement that is timeless, balanced and elegant, always filtered through a reflection of his client’s lifestyle. Luis has an extensive history, blending interior design, fashion and creative direction, ultimately focused on creating spaces and experiences for the now, but effortlessly timeless: spaces that feel right and at home, yet have a fair dose of delight.

Luis grew up in Miami, and studied Architecture at Cornell University with a Bachelor of Architecture degree. He started his career in NYC at the architecture firm of Kohn Pedersen Fox (KPF). He later joined Jeffrey Hutchison + Associates (JHA), where he was the lead for the Barney’s New York flagship stores in San Francisco and Las Vegas.
