For interior designer Joy Moyler, fashion influences and underscores the content of her work. Textiles, color, depth and pattern seep into her projects, punctuated with bespoke details often found in haute couture and men’s haberdashery. Her love of architecture arose upon visiting Spain at 14. Enthralled by the light, color, angles and textures of Madrid and Barcelona, she decided to pursue a Bachelor of Science in architecture. With more than 20 years of experience, Moyler has worked for some of New York’s most prominent architectural and interior design firms, including John Saladino, Skidmore Owings & Merrill, Kohn Pederson Fox and The Office of Thierry Despont. Moyler’s experience spans the globe and boasts diverse work, creating residential, retail, hospitality and commercial projects infused with the local culture. She recently completed RAEVO, a luxury golf resort near Moscow, Russia, collaborating with famed golfer and course designer Jack Nicklaus. Moyler’s extensive portfolio also features several A-list celebrity residences, including Harry Winston’s Beverly Hills home and the Mittal residence at Kensington Palace Gardens.
