Drawing inspiration from South European architecture, this Southern California guesthouse’s waxed plaster walls are accented by intricate wood ceilings, beams and brackets. A more Moroccan approach in the primary suite led to a barrel-vaulted ceiling highlighted in boldly patterned tile.
