Designed by Marion Philpotts-Miller, with the help of senior designer Anne Tanaka, for both family gathering and moments of tranquility, this open-air lanai in Kailua-Kona, Hawaii, captures the trade winds to combat the arid climate. Earthy, neutral tones as well as interior woodwork crafted from the surrounding kiawe trees mirror the natural environment in the space.
