Imber, Architects, a modern classical design firm based in San Antonio, Texas, and recognized for a body of work that is strong in historic sentiment yet modern in its execution. Michael has been honored with numerous design awards including the Texas Society of Architects William W. Caudill, FAIA award for his achievements as a young architect and his contributions to the American Institute of Architects. In 2007, Michael was honored with the Arthur Ross Award, and in 2008, he was inducted into the AIA&#8217;s College of Fellows. He also won the national Palladio Award for outstanding achievement in traditional design and the Texas ICAA John Staub Award. His firm&#8217;s portfolio includes residential, commercial, institutional, hospitality and resort projects located throughout the United States and internationally. Michael is an NCARB registered architect, licensed in numerous states, as well as a licensed interior designer. He is a founding counselor of the Congress of Residential Architects and the founding president of the Institute of Classical Architecture and Art, Texas Chapter and currently sits on the Sir John Soane&#8217;s Museum Foundation Board, as well as the board of advisors for the Design Leadership Network.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Michael Imber, FAIA, is the principal architect of Michael G.
