A Fishers Island, New York, tower house rests on a rocky hill overlooking the Atlantic Ocean. The island’s historic shingled cottages influenced this contemporary interpretation. Elements, including the Alaskan yellow cedar timbers that support the balcony, were inspired by the owners’ love of rustic ski lodges.
